Relocating to Florida

As summer is well underway and the Fourth of July is passed for another year we see people making the decision to move to Florida. They want to be moved in and get their children enrolled in school for the upcoming school year. While it is important to register your children for school don’t forget that you also must register your automobile(s) with the state of Florida. In Pinellas County call (727) 562-3262 for more information. It is required that this be completed within 10 days of becoming employed or placing your children in a public school.

It is also required that you obtain a valid Florida driver’s license within 30 days of becoming employed, registering your children in school, registering to vote or to file a homestead exemption. You can call (727) 893-2749 in Pinellas County for more information or visit www.dmv.org
